Sebastopol House Historic Site Tour

Seguin was once known as "The Concrete City" for constructing many buildings out of one of the first forms of concrete using limestone. This 1856 Greek Revival mansion is one of the country's best preserved examples of 19th-century experimentation with concrete construction.

Exhibits show the technology used by skilled slaves to build this remarkable house in the years before the Civil War.
